Dog Sitting

by Ted

Luke and Ryan are definitely enjoying the warmer weather and the chance to get outside without having to spend 20 minutes getting bundled up in boots, hats, and mittens.  Today they felt like showing off for the camera.

This weekend we started dog sitting for Hunter.  Michele has always been the animal lover in our household.  So she was very excited when she got the chance to have Hunter for a while.  However, her and Hunter have not been getting along particularly well as of yesterday.

Like many dogs, Hunter loves to mark his territory everywhere he goes.  He’s got his nose to the ground and is never content just walking at a normal pace.  Well yesterday morning Michele decides to take Hunter out to the backyard to do his business.  As she stops to talk to our neighbor, Hunter gets impatient and decides to pee all over Michele’s leg!  Her jeans and her shoes were drenched! Needless to say Michele was NOT happy.

On the plus side, Michele’s pants and shoes survived a trip through the washing machine and dryer.

Hi Yoders! Thanks for passing on your blog link, Michele. Definitely following your adoption progress with interest — hope the wait doesn’t drag on too much longer! Your boys are getting so big. Crazy how that happens so fast with kids…
