Yesterday both the girls took baths.  Quinn was very eager to jump into the water and splash around.  She even helped Michele get her clothes off before climbing in.  Jenna was hesitant.  She just sat on my lap and watched while Quinn splashed and played.  Eventually Quinn got tired of the water so we quickly sudsed her up, dryed her off and Michele got her dressed.

By this time Jenna had kind of warmed up to the idea of a bath and was willing to give it a try now that her sister was no longer sharing the tub.  Jenna had a blast playing in the water and eventually she got washed up too.  I struggled a little while getting her dressed so Michele came to help me.

When all of a sudden we heard a splash from the bathroom.  Quinn had decided it was time for a bath again.  Michele ran over and found Quinn contently sitting and playing in the tub – new, clean clothes and all.  She was already drenched from head to toe.

Michele just took Quinn’s soaking wet clothes off and let her have another bath…..

About tochinaandbackagain

I am a stay at home mom to two very active boys and soon we will bring home two Chinese twin girls with cleft lip and palate issues. I spend my day trying to be the best parent and wife I can be with God leading the way.

  1. Katie L. says:

Oh my goodness! Twins sound like a handful, good thing you have each other! I’m glad Quinn got adopted into the land of 10,000(+) lakes if she likes water that much! Your boys seem to be enjoying the swimming too. I bet it was super frustrating but from this end it’s pretty cute/funny!
On another note, I saw the movie on facebook of your girls laughing and it was so heartwarming! What does the rest of the trip look like for you guys?

  2. Dad just put in for vacation from the 23rd to the 27th. I will be in Waseca that week.
