First day home

by Michele

Well, we have been home for half a day.  It is busy.  The boys missed mommy and daddy so they needed a lot of attention and time.  The girls were climbing everything in sight, throwing toys everywhere, busy, busy, busy times 2.  I don’t think that this surgery is slowing them down a bit.  We last gave them narcotics at 11 right before we left the hospital and I don’t think they need them anymore.  We had actually started cutting Jenna off in the hospital yesterday because she was doing so well.  They are still on Tylenol to control the pain and Benadryl to help control the itching of the stitches.

Doris was impressed with their stamina.  She has never really hung out with them too much because she lives so far away but she kept on telling me she feels like she is in a whirlwind trying to keep an eye on the girls who are constantly darting here and there.  She just said that is in understatement.  Anyways, girls are doing good.  We will hopefully get some pictures up tomorrow on how the girls are doing.  Their face is looking really good.

About tochinaandbackagain

I am a stay at home mom to two very active boys and soon we will bring home two Chinese twin girls with cleft lip and palate issues. I spend my day trying to be the best parent and wife I can be with God leading the way.
