This Easter Luke and Ryan had a lot of fun teaching the girls about coloring eggs, egg hunts, and all of the other traditions.
On Good Friday, they learned how to carefully put the eggs into the colors, put stickers and crayon on the eggs. Only a few broke but that is ok since my mom hard boiled all of them this year. Her chickens have been laying a lot of eggs so each kid got their own dozen.
On Saturday, they learned to search everywhere for hidden plastic eggs. Jenna did not do so well but Quinn seemed to figure it out because she was finding some of the harder eggs that the boys were suppose to find. The boys got to do some more egg coloring during nap time with one of their cousins (well one of Ted’s cousins that is our kids age).
On Sunday, probably Luke’s favorite activity, they learned how to read clues to find their baskets full of goodies which included lots of new grown-up underwear for the girls, no more training underwear for them. Ted and I were pretty excited too because this year Luke could actually read all of the clues on his own to help everyone find their baskets.
I think Jenna and Quinn enjoyed their time and all of the different activities. Especially since the activities involved getting candy and getting to eat eggs, two of their favorite foods.
